Between October of 1979 and February of 1980, three different homicides took place in Fall River Massachusetts. These murders took place at the height of a time now known as the “Satanic Panic” where media outlets were spreading the idea that the Dark Lord himself had risen up and was instructing the youth of America to revolt against their normal Christian institutions and cause widespread mayhem.
While the Satanic Panic was an overblown idea spread by the loosely cobbled together stories of the mass media, the murders in Fall River made a strong case for the existence of a cult in the area.
