In Lincoln Nebraska, 19 year-old Charles Starkweather entered a gas station to purchase a teddy bear for his girlfriend. Starkweather unfortunately had no money on him to pay for the bear and insisted to purchase the bear with “credit”. When the cashier, Robert Colver, denied Starkweather, the final straw in Starkweathers life had been broken, and soon started one of the most infamous events in Midwestern history…
