On this very special episode, Sconez and Darcy celebrate Monday Morning Macabre’s first ever Christmas Special! This episode contains two different macabre stories all with ties to Christmas. First, Sconez tells the tale of “The Warminster Thing” a strange set of events that unfolded in Warminster in the 1960’s. After that, Darcy explains the mystery of the “Sodder Family Disappearances” an abduction (?) of 5 children from their attic on Christmas night.

Mateusz Kawecki, a 30 year old Polish man working in Hanover Germany, is due to arrive at his fiancé's home in Lipia Góra, Poland, 402 miles away. Mateusz sends a text message saying he is stuck in traffic and will be late in arriving. This is the last message anyone will receive from Mateusz.

Six months later Mateusz's body is found, however the circumstances are unusual. The body is not found near Mateusz's intended location in the Northeast of Poland, instead it is found 394 miles away in the Southeast of Poland, hanging in his parents barn. While the police are quick to agree on suicide, there are many more questions and details to this story that don't have simple answers, especially the obvious one...

Season 1 Episode 8 : Turnbull Canyon

A Robin Airlines flight was en route to Burbank, CA from New York, NY when its landing gear hit a ridge in an area of Puente Hills CA. The crash instantly killed all 29 individuals on board. Strangely, reports of the crash noted that of the 29 killed, 21 of them were children. While this alone is enough to make one uneasy, it becomes even more disturbing with the addition of reports of a cult in the region known for committing ritual sacrifices involving children.

Eight-year-old Robert Clarence "Bobby" Dunbar was on a fishing trip with his family at Swayze Lake in St. Landry Parish, Louisiana when he disappeared. After an eight-month search, a man by the name of William Cantwell Walters was found with a child who matched the description of Bobby Dunbar.

March 31, 1922

43 miles north of Munich, Germany lies the small farmstead of Hinterkaifeck. Season 1 Episode 4 : Jack Parsons

June 17, 1952

Jack Whiteside Parsons, founding member of NASA's Jet Propultion Laboratory and esteemed Rocket Scientist, received a rush order of explosives for a film set and began to work on them in his home laboratory. Shortly thereafter, an explosion destroyed the lower part of the home, killing Parsons.

But what was Parson's attempting to do that day? While the logical conclusion of "combining chemicals for explosives" is a simple, straight-forward answer, the life of the now deceased man was anything but. "Black Magician", "Intellectual Necromancer", and "Cult Leader" are all titles attributed to Parsons.
