The Villisca Axe Murders

Sometime between the evening of June 10th and the early morning of June 11, 1912, a horrible crime was committed. A family of six, along with two friends who were spending the night, were murdered by an unknown, axe wielding assailant while they slept. A lengthy investigation ensured and four prime suspects were determined.
