In Pulaski County, Kentucky, a man returns home after a long day of working as a carpenter. He enters his home and discovers his wife’s infidelity with another man. Stricken with rage, the man grabs a nearby chain and strangles his wife to death. After the rage subsides and the man realizes what he has done, the man then takes his own life out of guilt.
A classic start to a spooky, fictitious ghost story, right? Well in this case the ghost story may not be all that fictitious. The man being referenced is Carl Pruitt, a carpenter from the early 1900’s whose grave has lived on in infamy after the traumatic events. A grave that was the last place several people would ever venture to before getting into freak accidents - accidents that leave their victims…
