During the summer of 1954, two men were killed and multiple others were tortured by a group of teenage boys in Brooklyn New York. These crimes put a spotlight on 1950’s social rhetoric and McCarthyism with the public insisting that things like comic books and homosexuals were the reasons for such heinous crimes to be committed.

But what if these crimes weren’t committed at all? What if a group of teenage youths were made to be examples of what happens when you live an alternative lifestyle in such an era? And what if…
