In Granby, Colorado, a man by the name of Marvin Heemeyer purchased 2 acres of land for $42,000 in order to build a muffler repair shop. Unfortunately for Heemeyer, a concrete plant decided to build right next door and destroyed and street access to Heemeyers store.

Upset, Heemeyer decided to appeal the zoning laws to allow for his business to not be disrupted by the new concrete plant, however his request for appeal was denied.

This classic tale of the small business owner being strong-armed by the Government happens all too often. Where this story changes from standard to horrific is when Heemeyer decides to transform his bulldozer into a weapon of mass destruction…

Robert Pickton, the owner and operator of Pickton Farms, was a quiet man. His farm was not like your average run-of-the-mill farming setups. Pickton was known to throw wild, drug fueled raves on the property and invite people from all walks of life to come and party at his barn. While these raucous parties were wild, nothing horrific happened there, or so Bill Hiscox, an employee of the farm, thought.

Hiscox began noticing that women who would come to the farm started going missing. On February 6, 2002, Hiscox would inform the police who would search the premises and find items belonging to the missing women on the grounds of the farm. What makes this case so horrific is that the bodies wouldn’t be found…

Heavens Gate, a religious cult created by Marshal Applewhite and Bonnie Nettles, is one of America’s strangest and most unusual tragedies. How could such strange philosophies convince so many people to drop everything in their lives and believe in UFO’s and fictional beliefs? Even more shocking, what lead to the mass suicide…
